The atelier is not the background to the brand. It is its character.

Geneva gives RIVE & RITUEL more than an address. It gives the house its temperament: composed, precise, international and beautifully understated. Our atelier works at a human scale, allowing each garment to be considered as a real object for a real life.

We do not begin with volume. We begin with use, proportion and the woman who will wear the piece. The result is swim and shorewear shaped by the discipline of Swiss making and the sensual ease of life around water.

A garment is designed around the day it must live through.

Can it enter cold water in the morning and sit comfortably beneath knitwear afterwards? Can it move through sailing, spa, travel and lunch without feeling like a costume for one setting? Can the line remain elegant while offering the support a body actually needs?

These questions guide the work. Versatility is not added at the end as a styling suggestion. It is considered from the first line, through fabric selection, construction and final fit.

    Selection

    Colour, size and the intended use of the piece shape the brief.

    Cutting

    Performance fabric is prepared by hand with attention to grain, stretch and proportion.

    Construction

    Layers, seams and finishing are brought together for support without heaviness.

    Final inspection

    The finished piece is checked before it leaves Geneva and enters your ritual.
